Services
Delivery of The Passports :-
The passport shell
be delivered by The Regional Passport of Office only to the
applicant of dispatched by registered post acknowledgement due
or speed post to the address given in the application form.
Required documents for obtaining the Indian Passport :
1) 10 Photographs ( 35mm * 35mm )
2) Proof of address ( Two of the following)
-> Ration Card
->
Telephone/Electric/Water & Drainage Bill
-> Passbook/Statement of
running bank account
-> Address on reputed company's letter head.
-> Income tax assessment
order.
-> Election commission ID
card.
3) Proof of Date & Place of birth.
4) H.S.C mark sheet/certificate or Degree certificate.
5) No objection Certificate ( for Government Employee )
6) Parent's passport copy ( if holding )
7) Marriage certificate ( Memorandum of marriage) / One couple
photo.
CAUTION :
1) The passport is a valuable document. It is the property
of The Government of India. It should not be sent out of any
country by post. It should be in the custody either of the
holder or of a person authorized by the holder. It must not be
altered or mutilated in any way. The passport holder shell be
responsible for misuse of it.
2) All holders are required to take due care that it does not
get damaged, mutilated or lost but in cast it may be lost, theft
or destruction of passports should be immediately reported to
the nearest passport authority to the local police station.
